Jamie Prusak is an experienced executive whose business strategy development, P&L management and company-wide process improvements have led businesses to repeatedly exceed aggressive profit and volume growth objectives. Mrs. Prusak has also proven successful in guiding executive teams, managing foreign owner relationships, and building and leading cross-functional teams. Jamie has honed these skills in low-margin grocery products, the highly regulated, high-margin luxury spirits industry, equine not-for-profit organizations, and a financial advisory firm.

Mrs. Prusak's early marketing successes included a national rollout of Tetley tea products, previously only sold along the east coast of the U.S. At Schieffelin & Somerset (S&S), an approximately $500 million joint venture of spirits powerhouses Diageo and Moet Hennessy, she moved through many assignments beginning with the repositioning of Dewar's Scotch Whisky in a declining scotch market (Harvard published a three-part Business School Case Study on the project), and a subsequent repositioning of Hennessy Cognac. Both efforts were driven by cross-functional teams of internal personnel and external agency representatives, and effectively sold by Mrs. Prusak to her executive team and foreign owners. She held P&L responsibility, and achieved aggressive volume and profit growth objectives for both brands.

As Senior Vice President of Regional Marketing and sitting on the executive team, Mrs. Prusak designed a corporate planning process that incorporated changes to the organizational structure, reporting, and accounting systems. Her work optimized the local impact and profitability of corporate programs executed by distributors assigned on a state-by-state basis and operating under state-specific liquor laws. A key component was setting clear national, regional and local marketing strategies and priorities for a planning matrix that spanned 13 brands across 8 sales regions and 50 states. The new process was successfully implemented through all levels of the organization and its distributors within one annual planning cycle.

Finally, Mrs. Prusak assumed the role of Executive Vice President of Distribution Strategies to lead the S&S executive team through a process of state-by-state brand and distributor realignment to maximize profit following parent Diageo's acquisition of Seagram’s, a process complicated by federal antitrust and individual state liquor laws. Throughout the process, Jamie championed the best interests of the S&S portfolio through participation on a Diageo executive task force. Through her various roles at S&S, Mrs. Prusak developed excellent working relationships with local and global employees of both British parent company, Diageo, and French parent, Moet Hennessy, as well as Moet Hennessy parent, LVMH.

Most recently, Mrs Prusak has been serving as Chief of Staff and CMO for Asgaard Capital, a financial advisory firm, leading the executive team in the positioning and marketing of Asgaard’s service offerings and building an expanded, high-performing team.

Mrs. Prusak is a graduate of Northwestern University majoring in Economics and received her MBA in Marketing and International Finance from The University of Chicago. Jamie and her husband, Bob, have three children and live in Redding, Connecticut. For many years Jamie managed Top Story LLC, a show horse business operating nationally and internationally.
