John Dixon

John Dixon is a Managing Director at Asgaard where he holds responsibility in the areas of business development, operational improvement, liability management, and restructuring. He has 30 years of experience in high-level roles including chairman, CEO, CRO, board director, and advisor for both public and privately held companies. With experience spanning many industries and countries, John specializes in stabilizing highly distressed businesses and has proven his diplomacy and negotiation skills at an international level.


Before joining Asgaard, John rebooted the business and wrote down debt as CEO for an electric motorbike company in Spain, Torrot Electric Europa SA. Prior to that he was the CEO, chairman, and 50 percent owner of Fin Machine Company Ltd., a UK-based maker of automotive heat exchanger manufacturing equipment whose revenues increased twentyfold under his direction, and CEO of U.S.-based electric vehicle company Smith Electric Vehicles, whose crucial IP rights he helped reclaim from a Chinese company through litigation. John has also served as advisor to the board of a German automotive supplier and to a Swiss industrial measuring company. 


John is currently a board member and advisor to the publicly traded Spanish biotech company, BIAT Group, where he has helped address governance and legal issues, and helped achieve revenue growth by focusing the company on its core technology businesses.
