Charlie Reardon is the founder, CEO, and Senior Managing Director of Asgaard Capital and heads the firm’s liability management and restructuring activities. Charlie is a Global M&A Network Top 25 Financial Advisor and has more than 25 years of experience directing healthy and distressed M&A, operational and financial restructurings, debt and equity capital financing, and real estate development. He has served on the boards of numerous public and privately held companies and is particularly adept at helping craft and sell storied deals where the future that investors buy is much more robust than previous financial performance would suggest.
Prior to founding Asgaard Capital, Charlie was a partner in the investment banking division of Carl Marks & Co. Before that, he was a director with Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin and a member of their globally recognized Financial Restructuring Group, and led Houlihan’s Distressed M&A Practice in the mid-Atlantic region. Charlie began his career on Wall Street with the legal firm of Lane & Mittendorf (now Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf) specializing in corporate finance, general corporate, and real estate law.
Charlie holds a B.A. with highest distinction from the University of Virginia, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
